a) written in "hyper-text markup language" (HTML) with tables and frames; and
b) Adobe's "Portable Document Format" (PDF) files which require Acrobat Reader 4.0.5 for viewing

A "Campus VR Tour" of the University;
High resolution digital photo images of the University;
Inside the tools folder - Acrobat Reader 4.05 (acrd4enu.exe) and Updater (ac405up.exe) for Windows;
- English and Chinese versions of Internet Explorer 5 for Windows;

TO VIEW CONTENTS

This CD-ROM is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 (included), Netscape Navigator 4.5 or later versions. The front page will open automatically using your default browser. You need to install Acrobat Reader 4.05 (included) to view the main contents of this CD-ROM. If you encounter difficulties in viewing, you also need to install Acrobat Updater (included).

Note: The newly released Acrobat Reader 5.0 does not support inline display of PDF file by web browsers due to unknown reason at the time of publishing. Please install the Acrobat Reader 4.05 included in this CD-ROM to view the content of the Calendar.

TO PRINT HARD COPIES OF THE CONTENTS

Click the Print button on the Command bar at the top of the pdf document.

OTHER FACILITIES

If your computer is connected to Internet, you can browse off-line to HKUST's web sites by clicking the "Website" button. You may also use the high resolution photo images of the University campus in your own publication. The "Campus VR Tour" can be viewed either with QuickTime 4.0 or later or with your Java enabled browser.
