Remote Video Capture (RVC) is a free videotaping service provided by the Publishing Technology Center (PTC) to enhance teaching and learning in HKUST. 126 faculty and instructors teaching 181 courses used RVC during Fall 2011, and more than 2,500 lecture videos were produced during the semester.

RVC enable faculty to videotape their lectures through devices pre-installed in classroom. NO extra effort from faculty is required, NO cameraman will be deployed to classroom, and NO disruption of class.
