This electronic edition of the Academic Calendar describes the programs and regulations of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology at the time of production. These may be changed from time to time by the appropriate University Authority. In the event of inconsistency between information contained in the Academic Calendar and a University regulation or program, or where an interpretation of the Calendar is required, the decision of the University Authority shall be final. The Calendar does not form any part of a contract between any person and the University.
