HKUST's College of Lifelong Learning provides the general public with continuing education programs.

Continuous Learning
To support the Government's policy on promoting lifelong learning, the University established the College of Lifelong Learning (CL3) on 11 August 2000. The mission of the College is to provide the general public with educational programs that are supplementary to the regular degree programs of HKUST. CL3 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HKUST and all programs are self-financed.

During 2000/01, CL3 offered a wide range of courses and programs, including associate degree and degree programs, as well as executive certificate and professional diploma courses. The College launched an Online English Course in June 2001, which offers interactive multimedia contents.
