International Acclaim

HKUST earned international acclaim in a variety of areas. Our School of Business and Management was ranked No. 1 on Asia Inc's list of top MBA schools in Asia and Australia. It was placed 47th in the world by the Financial Times, another astounding achievement. For the second consecutive year our Department of Accounting was ranked No. 1 in the world for publications in five top journals in the field, while the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering came first based on the number of papers published in the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices. The School of Humanities and Social Science was also honored for its publications in three top journals in the China studies field, joining Harvard and Stanford in the world's top five.
