The first phase of the Nansha Information Technology Park was launched on 29 December. The IT Park will assist technological development in the Pearl River Delta and is a joint partnership between the Fok Ying Tung Foundation, the Guangzhou Government and HKUST.

 

  
The first Family Business Program
 

HKUST offered the first Family Business Program in association with Mr Roy Chen, Executive Director of Sterling Enterprises Limited and Prof John Ward, of the Kellogg School of Management. The course, which ran from 10-11 December, saw over 30 participants explore the special requirements of running a family business.
