The 2002 Student Outreach Day brought
more than 15,000 students, teachers and their families to Clear Water
Bay on 28 September to tour the campus and its facilities, and to
learn from academics and University students about studying at HKUST.
The
University launched an 18-month, part-time Master of Technology Management
program in Shanghai on 13 September, in partnership with Shanghai
Jiao Tong University. The modular program nurtures senior technology
managers in the Chinese Mainland and enables full-time professionals
to pursue advanced education without interrupting their careers. 22
students enrolled on the first program.
